NAISAtron

Background

In 2006, New Adventures in Sound Art asked Rob Cruickshank to create a small electronic instrument that would be part sculpture and part sound art instrument. In October 2007, the NAISAtron was launched.

The NAISAtron is a sound sculpture, an electronic gizmo, a teaching tool (what is a capacitor?) and a way to make sound art. The NAISAtron was created by Rob Cruickshank for use in the NAISA youth initiative and for the DIY artists who love to make sound electronically. Kits will be available at the November 15th media launch and proceeds from these kits will go towards the NAISA youth initiative.

A download of the NAISAtron manual in both french and english will be available on this page shortly.

NAISAtron kits are available for $45 + shipping charges
and can be ordered online by clicking here
