Drop in to NAISA and celebrate Art's 1,000,056th birthday. Kids and Adults of all ages can try out many fun and exciting art-making activities, including exploring the games and puzzles that are part of the anyWare sculpture. Activities are free and suitable for all ages and abilities. And yes, there will be cake!
Electromagnetic Sound Hunt

In the everyday environment there is a hidden layer of sound that is beyond the range of human hearing. Josh Gumiela will be on hand at NAISA for Family Day weekend in order to reveal this hidden sound layer. He will not only introduce curious listeners of all ages to his artwork Immobile Device but he will also provide listeners with a device that amplifies the electromagnetic activity present in everyday objects like computers, cellphones, and microwaves. For those that wish to stay longer and learn more he can help build a DIY electromagnetic recording device.

NAISA will be open everyday during March Break with family friendly activities and performances that highlight radio and transmission art: be your own radio announcer; tell a story; play a touch board instrument that you create; and listen to artist performances at various times during the afternoon.
